Josepha is the family law and civil litigation partner at Madigans solicitors & mediators. She has a primary and masters degree from TCD in German and French and a diploma in arbitration from UCD . She is a member of the Law Society of Ireland family and child law committee. She is a previous DSBA (Dublin Solicitors Bar Association) family law committee member and council member of the MII (Mediators’ Institute of Ireland). Josepha is an accredited mediator and collaborative lawyer. She is the author of ‘Appropriate dispute resolution (ADR) in Ireland, a handbook for family lawyers and their clients’ (Jordan Publishing 2012). Josepha works extensively in all courts and has expertise in separation, divorce and ancillary relief orders. She lectures for the Law Society of Ireland on their post-graduate diploma on family law and on mediation. She is a regular media contributor on all issues pertaining to family law. Josepha won Family Lawyer of the Year at the Irish Law Awards 2014 and was a finalist in 2013 and 2015.
Patrick is a specialist in probate and property law.
Having obtained his law degree in Trinity College Dublin in 1984, Peter qualified as a solicitor in 1988. He therefore brings over twenty-five years of experience working in the legal profession to the firm. He specialises in all aspects of conveyancing, both residential and commercial, acting for both vendors/lessors and purchasers/lessees. He joined the firm in 2012 and now heads up the conveyancing department within the firm
Jenny graduated from Griffith College Dublin in 2004 with an LLB (Hons). She joined the firm in 2007 and thereafter became a Trainee Solicitor and qualified in 2014. She also has a Diploma in Arbitration from UCD. Since joining Madigans, Jenny has specialised in all areas of Family Law including Divorce, Separation, Access, Maintenance, Custody and Domestic Violence Applications. In addition to Family Law she has extensive expertise in relation to Personal Injuries Litigation. Jenny is a member of the DSBA and the Family Lawyers Association
Rachael graduated from Portobello College Dublin in 2009 with an LLB (Hons) having obtained a distinction in Higher Diploma in Criminal Justice and Criminology from DBS in 2007. She went on to Kings Inns and obtained her Barrister at Law degree and was called to the Irish Bar in 2010. She
practiced for a number of years at the bar and also obtained a MA in Criminology for DIT in 2014.....
